MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA – This President’s Day Weekend, February 14th – 18th, the Art Wynwood Fair will premiere its eighth edition at the new home of Art Miami and CONTEXT Art Miami, the old waterfront property where the Miami Herald used to stand.
The 2019 Art Wynwood line up offers a diverse selection of artworks from nearly 300 artists presented by 65 galleries from more than a dozen countries, including Germany, Chile, Russia, Austria, France, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Switzerland, Colombia and the United States.
The fair debuted in 2012, and ever since it was showcased the work of rising contemporary and modern artists, and has contributed to the assertion of Miami as an art hub and a cosmopolitan city as a whole.
The new location of the fair is not only iconic, but it is also very convenient. Art Fair is now very close to cultural locations such as the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, and the PAMM (Pérez Art Museum Miami)
In addition, in now shares a space with the Miami Yatch Show, which offers an in-water display of “The World’s Most Expensive Yachts” which are all for acquisition. Undoubtedly a weekend of luxury, culture, art, design and innovation combined.
Ticket prices to experience and maybe acquire art from exhibitors and artists around the world, are around $50, but usual student, and group discount passes are available as well. The fair usually opens from 11AM to 7PM.
Last year on its 2018 edition, the Art Wynwood Fair attracted more than 85,000 visitors.
