The outdoor lounge has been a South Beach nightlife icon for a while, and even though they always had weekly events, they have brought back Bar Centro Unplugged with a brand new lineup.

The live music will be performed by The French Horn Collective, Sol + The Tribu, and De Ida y Vuelta, and the event will offer patron cigars, a roaming gin and tonic cart, and specialty tapas.

Luis Garcia, General Manager of The Bazaar by Jose Andres and Bar Centro explained, “[The event] never stopped, but we have recently launched an all new music line up including The French Horn, Sol +The Tribu and De Ida y Vuelta.”

The French Horn Collective will play the first Wednesday of every month, Sol + The Tribu will play every second Wednesday, while De Ida y Vuelta, will play the last two Wednesdays of every month.

As far as the selection of this particular show and entertainers, Luis commented, “Due to our diverse property and clientele, we like to make sure that the music ties into some form of classic roots with a modern approach. Right now we have The French Horn that ties in Blues and Jazz with a French vibe that is really transporting.”

In addition, “Sol y Tribu incorporated Latin Rhythm and funk with Modern Beats, and Ida y Vuelta compliments the Traditional Spanish of which Bar Centro stands for. These Bands represent the cultural diversity that is 100 percent Miami Beach.”

Drinks and specialty cocktails start at $15 after 8PM. However, from 6PM until 8PM, Bar Centro offers a “Merienda Hour” or happy hour, where drinks start at $9. The menu consists of delicious meals with Spanish roots, and Caribbean and Asian style tapas.
