MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA – Thanksgiving is probably the most celebrated holiday in the country when families gather around the table to celebrate what they are most grateful for and, of course, a delicious feast. However, for those not eating at home, these are some of the best places to go for a delicious Thanksgiving meal in Miami Beach.
The legendary Smith & Wollensky at 1 Washington Avenue is a staple of fine dining in South Beach, although known for their mouth-watering steaks, the Thanksgiving menu is not far behind.
National Director of Culinary Development and Corporate Chef, Chef Matt King enthusiastically shared this year’s options, “Smith & Wollensky Miami Beach is excited to be open Thanksgiving once again!”
He continued, “Guests can relax and enjoy elevated dining in a family-friendly atmosphere with ocean views, for just $65 per adult and $29 per child. From Herb-Roasted Turkey Breast to Classic Pumpkin Pie, our Thanksgiving promises to be traditional, yet extraordinary. Traditional menu is also available.”
Lastly he commented, “In addition the restaurant will have special Coravin – Holiday ‘Premium’ Wines By The glass selection – featuring higher-end wines that we typically only offer in bottle format.”
For guests looking for a “quality home-style meal with all its fixin’s and none of the dishes,” its Yardbird Southern Table & Bar at 1600 Lenox Avenue, offering an a-la-carte Thanksgiving day menu.
As described by their team itself, “Thanksgiving at Yardbird Southern Table & Bar is an experience that is only rivaled by Grandma’s kitchen.”
“Whether you are looking for an herb-roasted, cooked to perfection, turkey dinner, or coming for Spiced Pumpkin Pie with toasted meringue and peanut brittle, you are sure to find something that hits the spot!”
For guests that enjoy the art-deco hotel atmosphere, Tamara at The National, at 1667 Collins Avenue, is offering a delicious and fair-priced Thanksgiving three-course meal.
For $39.95 per adult and $19.95 per child, guests can enjoy the beautiful views and delight themselves in their autumn salad, potato bisque, Thanksgiving Turkey and Pumpkin Cheesecake.
For guests looking for a more upscale and non-traditional Thanksgiving brunch, Jaya at The Setai at 2001 Collins Avenue is the place to be. The holiday feast with their Asian twist includes a myriad of delicious dishes from turkey to pad thai. There is an a-la-carte menu, and a prixe-fixe option for $145 per adult and $63 per child.
Another luxury dinning on the non-traditional side is Matador Room at The Edition at 2901 Collins Avenue. Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten will offer a scrumptious four-course dinner with his signature Latin and Spanish flavors. Adults are $125 and children are $58.
For guests in a more relaxed and laid-back mood, also at The Edition, Market is offering an early Thanksgiving dinner buffet including soups, sides, desserts and a carving turkey station, for $75 per adult and $35 per child. Attendees are also welcome to add bottomless mimosas and bloody marys to their meal for $35 each.
For guests who wish to indulge in a gourmet pie at home, the infamous Chez Bon Bon at The Fontainebleau at 4441 Collins Avenue will be accepting pre-orders for pickup from November 23rd until Thanksgiving day. Pies are $25 each, and options include pumpkin pie with cinnamon Chantilly or pecan pie with chocolate ganache.
