The show and brunch launched on August 4th at Sweet Liberty Drinks & Supply Co, at 237-B 20th St in Miami Beach, and will continue Sunday September 14th, and every second Sunday of every month after that, with seating times at 1:30 PM & 3:30 PM.

The daytime cabaret, named as homage to the infamous movie starring Robin Williams and filmed in South Beach, will feature live music, acrobatic drag queens, and burlesque shows, in a very wildly entertaining act, curated and hosted by Mx Karla Croqueta, the “Ultimate Miami Drag Queen 2019.”

Karla Croqueta commented on her new act, “I am so excited to be producing this Cabaret Brunch at Sweet Liberty! I feel Miami needs to see more variety acts and shows; and brunch is the perfect opportunity to bring the whole family together to enjoy a daytime show. This is not going to be your typical Drag Brunch […] this will blow your mind!”

The performer also commented that the show is very “immersive and interactive,” with a lot of “audience participation and a lot of bumping and grinding on people.”

In addition, The Birdcage Brunch will offer a wildly entertaining afternoon of drag queens and showgirls, and $30 bottomless prosecco and mimosas. Admission to the show is free, and there is food available a la carte.

Drag sensation, and bearded beauty, Karla Croqueta, was the MC, star and Creative Director of the late show at El Tucan, and she has produced shows from “El Chancletazo,” at MicroTeatro to shows in the Miccosukee Resort & Casino Dome, and at Shirley’s Theatre in Gramps.
