MAIMI BEACH, FLORIDA – The City of Miami Beach in partnership with Prism Creative Group are presenting another free cultural event on Sunday, October 20th, the ‘Beachside BBQ Jamboree’. The music and food-filled afternoon will take place at South Beach’s iconic Lummus Park, at Ocean Drive and 11th Street, from 12PM until 4PM.
The BBQ Jamboree celebrates the South Florida music scene with live jams of Americana, Funk and more by the Honey Hounds and The Sh-Booms. In addition, to complete this day of outdoors family-fun there will be delicious bites from local eateries, artisan vendors, and activities, such as a kite workshop, psychic readings, caricatures drawings and more.
Pola Bunster, VP and Director of Storytelling from Prism Creative Group, commented on the fall event series, “We’re working together with the City of Miami Beach as part of a community building initiative to bring residents and other Miami locals outside and into the beauty that is Lummus Park.”
She continued, “This fall events series, which started with the Puppy Brunch on September 22nd, are meant to highlight the amazing people and businesses that Miami Beach and the rest of Miami are home to.”
Adding, “The events are geared to recognizing our city’s unique character. We’re ending next month with a Buena Vista Social Club Tribute on November 21st.”
Some of the food vendors on Sunday include; Clives Café, Holy Smokes BBQ and Grill (Kosher), Proper Sausages and Icestasy.
While some of the artisan vendors are; The Garden Box, Half Moon Leather, Abbott Florist Miami Beach, Rust and Wax, Radiator Comics and Sakura Apothecary.
Everyone in the family is welcome to walk-up and join the BBQ Jamboree at any point. All events in the series are also dog-friendly.
