MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA – On Thursday, September 5th, the City of Miami Beach and Prism Creative Group bring all the good vibes to their “Endless Summer, Reggae Legends Tribute” event. Enjoy a night of reggae featuring Marquise Fair, and laid-back summer fun and barbecue from 7PM until 10PM, at the Normandy Fountain at 7802 Rue Vendome.
Pola Bunster, VP and Director of Storytelling at Prism Creative, explained that “This is the fourth event in a series of community programming we’ve partnered with The City of Miami Beach for, to spotlight the amazing local businesses and beautiful energy of North Beach and Normandy Isles.”
She continued, “We’ve done a ‘Milonga Under the Stars’, and now a Reggae Tribute to round out the summer. All of which are free and open to the public so everyone can access vibrant culture in their own backyard.”
The Endless Summer, Reggae Legends Tribute, will have everything a chilled-out tropical summer nighttime event could ask for, and for free. Musical tributes will be given to famous reggae icons, while accompanied by “Caribbean flavors, sounds and rhythm.”
Caribbean style food and BBQ will be available by Miami Smokers, Mexican bites by 222 Taco, gourmet ice cream by Icestasy, and cocktails. In addition, there will be a record pop-up by Noise Lab Miami, small artisanal vendors to explore, and games of domino to join.
Matt Kenny, Director of Tourism for the City of Miami Beach, highlighted the importance of these events for the local community, “Our tourism and culture department commissioned Prism to program events at Rue Vendome as a way to bring overall awareness to this vital part of our city.”
Adding, “The intent [is] to engage local businesses and to bring new visitors to the area as a long term plan.”
