MIAMI BECAH, FLORIDA – The Hyundai Air and Sea Show, a salute to the men and women that protect this country in the armed forces, takes place on Memorial Weekend, May 25th and 26th in Miami Beach, between 10th and 14th Streets and Ocean Drive.
The weekend will be filled with events from aircraft shows to performances by artist FLO RIDA amongst others, and fireworks in true American spirit.
The Hyundai Air and Sea Show event has been called “The Greatest Show Above the Earth,” for it “showcases the men, women, technology and equipment from all five branches of the United States Military as well as our first responder agencies.
This two-day spectacular event also features offshore powerboat racing demonstrations, extreme water sports, an interactive Display Village including military recruiting exhibits, an Action Zone, a Kid Zone and more, all on the beautiful shores of Miami Beach.”
The showcases of sea and air military equipment and teams, are free for anyone to watch. However, a VIP experience is available, where tickets range from $25 to $65, except children under twelve, who will always be allowed to enter for free.
VIP tickets include an array of offers depending on which days you wish to attend, and if you want to participate on the Music Explosion closing concert on Sunday night.
In addition to the concert tickets for one or both days include a better view of the shows, private restaurants, access to an ALL-American BBQ, beer and cocktails stands, access to the front rows of the Music Explosion stage, watching the parachute demonstration from the landing space and meeting all-American heroes.
The sea demonstrations start both days at 11AM until 12PM. They include jet skis, stunt kites, wakeboarding, and powerboat racing, among others. The air demonstrations last from 12:30 PM until 4PM. They consist of fly-bys, precision exercises, and team demonstrations by both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy.
The kids and the action zone will be open to the public both days from 10AM until 6PM. This are will host a Stihl Timberworks Lumberjack show, Monster Motocross demonstrations, and access to over four blocks military display alongside Ocean Drive.
The final event and grand closure is a music Explosion concert in Lummus Park, headlined by Florida’s own hip hop artists, FLO RIDA. There will also be performances by the U.S. Air force band “Max Impact,” the U.S. Army band “As You Were,” as well as the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard Drill Team.
To end the night, the U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team will give a special night-pyro parachute demonstration. Of course, after all the showcases of power and glory, this all-American weekend ends with a spectacular fireworks extravaganza that will light up the sky of this glorious weekend in Miami Beach.
A portion of the profits form the tickets sales will go directly to the Salute 365 foundation. A non-profit organization, dedicated to better the life of those men and women and their families that have dedicated and sacrificed themselves to protect this country.
