MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA – A celebration of Polo alongside its chic lifestyle, will be center stage in Miami Beach starting this Thursday April 25th at night, the World Polo League Beach Polo, Miami Beach Cup 2019.

The actual polo matches will take place at Collins Park, but the events will take place in the most luxurious and trendiest places around South Beach.

For example, the kickoff party where team members and sponsors will be introduced is invitation only at the W hotel in South Beach, followed by an open reception at the very happening club, Bodega.

The Polo matches are open events for anyone that wishes to watch, but if you wish to enter the tents, where you can sit comfortable in the shadows and enjoy refreshments, a VIP Tent ticket must be purchased in advance.

A total of six teams will participate in the Miami Beach World Cup, including the USA Polo Assn, the Fiji, and the Setai team, amongst others, as well as four international women’s teams.

The first round of games will begin Friday at 11AM, and will finalize at 5PM. After there is an open event at the Setai hotel, followed by a private one at the Hyde –SLS South Beach Hotel.

Saturday is the day of the semi-finals. The first event will be an open class complimentary bootcamp class by PE Fitness at 10PM on the beach. The Polo matches will begin at 11:30 AM, and again, finish by 5PM, followed by an open event at The Setai, and another open event at the Mandrake Lounge at 11PM.

Sunday is the final day of this three-day celebration of fashion, travel and sports. The games to decide the finalists, runner-ups and winner, begin at 11AM.

A charity game will also take place on Sunday, and the winning team will take home the Neiman Marcus Cup. After the final game, the award-ceremony, MVP’s and photoshoot will take place followed by an “Aprés Polo” (afer Polo) event at the Setai.

The Miami Beach World Cup has partner events in cities around the world, where jet setters and the elite also gather to enjoy this elegant sport, including St. Moritz in Switzerland, Aspen in Colorado, and Cortina in Italy. The weekend VIP pass is about $450, and each day separately has an entrance fee of $150 – $200.
