Kero Kero Bonito at Gramps @ Gramps (Miami Beach) – Tonight Gramps presents KERO KERO BONITO with special guests AUDREY HORNY. Event tickets can be found at Kero Kero Bonito (sometimes shortened to KKB) are a British band from London, England. The band consists of vocalist Sarah Midori Perry better known as Sarah Bonito, producer Gus Lobban, and producer Jamie Bulled.

Their name comes from the Japanese onomatopoeic words for frog croaks and a type of fish. The band’s earlier music started out being influenced by J-pop, dancehall, and video game music while their music throughout 2018 was more rock and grunge oriented. They write many of their songs using a Casio SA-45 mini-keyboard. Perry raps in both Japanese and English.

When you first show up at Bodega, you could easily mistake it for a popular neighborhood taqueria. Look around for a guy with an earpiece at the back of the room and tell him your friend sent you, and you might just get directed to a back door that looks like an entrance to a Porta Potti. Pass through here and you’ll enter a graffiti-filled men’s washroom. It’s only after passing through yet another door that you will enter one of South Beach’s hot hidden nightclubs. The mixologists have an extensive menu that relies heavily on “illegal” mezcal, and the DJ keeps the room pumping all through the night.
