MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA – When one thinks of Miami Beach, immediately red convertibles, crowded beaches, and flashy nightclubs come to mind. But there is a lot more to the beach than the obvious stereotypes for a girl’s weekend.
The ultimate girls weekend will start in one of the ultimate green juice places at the beach. Grab your ladies and head to Joe the Juice or JugoFresh, for instance, for a revitalizing and energizing refreshments.
Of course, when in Miami Beach tanning must always be included, and combining it with a spa day is also an absolute must. So after grabbing your delicious green juice choose from an array of fabulous hotels that offer a spa and pool day for non guests as well.
Our top picks in this category are the Fontainebleau, the Standard and the Carillon; all of them have amazing pools with equally amazing spas.
Granted the Fontainebleau is famous for its pool parties, and it will granted be a lively experience with many international guests and perhaps even a famous DJ. The Carillon is probably the calmest one out of the three experiences; however, the spa is state of the art.
For a more local experience and relaxed vibe definitely visit the Standard. Whichever one you choose, we are certain you will absolutely love it.
After a day of relaxation and beautification its time to have a fabulous dinning experience. Of course, the Beach is flooded with amazing dinning options, but one of the hottest restaurants with healthier menu options is Malibu Farm Beach.
Located in the Eden Roc Hotel, it offers a wide variety of vegetarian selections, alongside delicious meat dishes as well in a very chic environment.
However, if you are looking for something more upscale, perhaps the Surf Club Restaurant might be the way to go. Recently opened in the beach by Chef Thomas Keller, it features mostly American cuisine.
After a nice dinner, it’s time for a show. Currently one of the most happening shows is the Samsara Cabaret at the Faena Hotel. It is a sensual take on Cirque du Soleil, in one of the Miami’s trendiest hotels. Afterwards you can enjoy a drink (or two) at the beautiful hotel bar.
Sundays (#sundayfunday) are for brunch, and Miami Beach is no exception. If you want the more “touristy”, yet still fun route, a Miami Beach classic is for you. We are taking about Nikki Beach. This lounge/restaurant is known for getting its party on and serving delicious food, especially on Sundays.
For a quieter and incredible delicious experience, Cecconi’s in the courtyard of Soho Beach House probably offers one of the best brunch buffets around.
If you are a member or happen to know someone that is, a Sunday afternoon by the Soho House pool would probably be the perfect ending your Miami Beach weekend.
