MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA – Whether you are a local or just visiting, in the steaming summer, a day at the pool in Miami Beach is always recommended. While not all hotel and resorts on ‘the beach’ offer day passes, many do, along with spa treatments, full food and drink service and often DJs ramping up a party in the afternoon.
A new and amazing way to enjoy a day at different Miami Beach hotels, is to book it through ResortPass. This system allows you to book at day or reserve a cabana in various hotels such as the Grand Beach Hotel, The Confidante Miami Beach, Fontainebleu Hotel, the Carillon Wellness Resort and the Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort.
ResortPass chose Miami Beach as part of the program because “What’s more synonymous with Miami than sun? In our business, good weather is the key to a good time. Miami is also an ace location for its pristine beaches, large network of resorts and pool culture. Whether you’re a tourist or a local, there’s going to be a prime spot for you to enjoy the pool, spa and amenities at a Miami hotel.” Day passes start at $20.
The Fontainebleu Hotel, at 4441 Collins Avenue, is practically a landmark in Miami Beach, offering eight different pools, pool bars, and ambiences to experience. However, if you are not a guest at the hotel, you can opt for renting a cabana (ResortPass offers them), or getting a spa treatment at the famous “Lapis” Spa.
The Standard Hotel and Spa at 40 Island Avenue, might be one of the most popular places to have an incredible day in the spa, and enjoying the beautiful Miami sunset and twilight views of the bay in their infinity pool listening to cool beats by great DJs. This incredible hotel and spa with one of the best pool scenes in Miami, offers a day pass of $75 during weekdays, and $150 during the weekends. Another alternative is to book a treatment at their well-regarded spa.
The Mondrian South Beach at 1100 West Avenue, offers the Sundance Pool Series, Saturday and Sunday from 12PM to 7PM. Guests can enjoy the upbeat music and relax in one of the daybeds or cabanas. Reservations are encouraged, and everyone is welcome, as long as you spend a minimum of $50 on food and beverages.
One of the newest and trendiest places in town, also happens to have the “largest rooftop pool in Miami Beach,” is the 1 Hotel South Beach at 2341 Collins Ave. The pool is only accessible to hotel guests until 6PM though, and after that open to the public.
Correction: This article has been updated on June 25th, to reflect that the Faena Hotel only allows pool access to its guests, and does allow beach access to non-guests who purchase a massage.
